Jim Green is a graduate mechanical engineer who has specialised in hot and cold rolling mills technology for both the ferrous and non-ferrous industries. He spent more than 30 years on research, development, design and project engineering of tube mills, bar and rod mills, section mills and strip steel rolling mills with, British Steel, Davy McKee, and ATKINS Consultants.
Since 1996 he has worked as an independent consultant specialising in rolling and finishing processes and with increasing experience in mining, ironmaking, steelmaking and casting.
He is able to work in French and German languages.
